Oh, i like this aquatic bridal veil Tony, i like it a lot!

I think i could use some more "stability and resistance" from this rock, in terms of contrast and darkness i mean.

Keep on shooting.

On a second thought my suggestion might ruin the soft, dream like mood of the image, so in this case forget it.

Intriguing and mesmerizing. Like how that one rock is just there. Don't know how else to describe it,but really like it! !!!!   AJ

Hello Tony:

This image caught my attention immediately for several reasons: the peaceful and magical effect of flowing water in Nature, the subtle tones, the isolated subject in a superb composition, and last but not least, the special quality of the water flowing, where it is neither frozen by a high shutter speed, nor velvet-like with a longer exposure. One can see through the underlying rock and at the same time, almost "go into" the flow and jumps of water themselves.

It has been a while since I have been active in PN, being involved in a personal project that is taking up some time. Nonetheless, I "went out for a walk in the park and realm of photography" to get a "breath of fresh air", pleased to visit your "corner" once again. Great work, as always.

And last but no least, it has become increasingly difficult to find more work like this. A side comment, with your kind permission: When I go to see photo of the day -, I am surprised at the prevalent images of bare subjects. Out of the 12 thumbnails of the first page in that section 8 out of 12, i.e. 66.7 percent are bare women, only to continue in the next page. An interesting phenomenon to think about, both on the photographers choosing this as the subject, and on the audience of PN rating these images.

I have nothing whatsoever against this type of photos or naked subjects (for some reason the word describing it has been fire-walled), much less of "artistic" photos of bare bodies, and not prudish in the very least. It is just a trend I am observing in PN since I first joined, and personally, somehow disappointed.

My apologies for this sidetracked personal note.  Kind regards.

DG
