arnklit 0 Posted October 2, 2003 I'd like to hear your comments on this one. To me it is one of those photos that convince me that traditional film cameras still have a reason to be. This image is taken with a (handheld) Leica M6 with a 50 mm Summicron on Provia 100F and scanned with a 4000ED. When printed on watercolor paper on an Epson 2100 at A3+ size you can easily discern the needles in the big pinetree, even if it is set against the bright sky. At the same time the nuances of the light through the mist and the dew on the grass convey a delicacy to the final print. Unfortunately the 800 pixel limit of the web is a limit, but if anyone is interested I'd gladly make the original scan available for download and printing. Link to comment
