Pierre Dumas 272 Posted January 7, 2015 Thank you, Mike! I agree with you, my laziness made me upload unfinished version! Cheers to that PDE Link to comment
Bill J Boyd 64,682 Posted January 7, 2015 Pierre,Bravo! I like your PP very much. Also, I prefer the cropped image because the trash can has been removed. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 272 Posted January 7, 2015 Thank you, Bill! It isn't cropped, I just erased the trash can and covered the sky with green tree-like substance by cloning! PDE Link to comment
AJBart 9 Posted January 7, 2015 Great Pierre! !...! Absolutely love it. Like the second one best. Bet it would look great printed on canvas. AJ Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted January 7, 2015 I like it as it is and without the sky!!! This effect is rather futuristic as Christal mentioned. Your latest works are so interesting and well thought out Pierre!!! All the Best To You in 2015!! Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 272 Posted January 7, 2015 Welcome and thank you, dear Gail! You always spare me of critique, here for example you say you like it as it is just without the sky, ha! Cheers to that! PDE Link to comment
Ciao amico mio. Link to comment
Ciao Mau Pietro il grato Link to comment

John Peri 1,031 Posted January 8, 2015 Tremendous painterly effect, it really works very well. The subject is particularly well chosen. I also like the minimalistic style especially in how it portrays the figure to the left. Excellent Pierre. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 272 Posted January 8, 2015 Welcome and thank you, John! I made a lot of version of this one with painterly style and I'm glad you like it! Cheers PDE Link to comment

jeffwatts 0 Posted January 12, 2015 Pierre - great image which makes me think of so many aspects of human behavior in our lives. The man is deep in thought and walks on the edge of the path furthest away from the approaching women who do not even seem to notice him. Leads one to believe how insulated we choose to be at times. Show us more! Jeff Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 272 Posted January 12, 2015 Well seen and analyzed, Jeff! I didn't have in mind that aspect, aspect of alienation! Good that you pointed to that to me! Thank you for your precious visit and wise comment! PDE Link to comment
Tony Brandstetter 814 Posted January 15, 2015 To me this is a representation of the Cubist period, perhaps a bit Picasso, Braque, I may get that from the pattern in the trees. The path curling to the right is a very good lead for the eye, contrast against the greens of the vegetation, it does capture the eye.Human interest, the person the left appears to have their head down, perhaps in a motion NOT to greet the on coming ladies. That person is faceless, not to be noticed to the oncoming ladies or not to noticed by the viewer. Link to comment
