lalit 0 Posted January 3, 2015 Its a lovely shot. Over 15 seconds its a great effect over the sea. Do you think there is some barrel distortion there? If there is one, I thought fixing that would be more pleasing. Link to comment
AlainD 0 Posted January 3, 2015 Thanks to all of you for your nice comments!Lalit: you're right, there is quite heavy distorsion. This was my first trip with the Canon 16-35 4L. I still have to get used to correct distorsion at 16mm. I'll rework on the image in the next few days. Thanks for the input! Link to comment
JeffBryce 0 Posted January 4, 2015 Alain, the lighting is fabulous. And I understand that you have purposefully placed the hole in the rock at thirds. My concern with this one is the overall balance; to me, the heavy rock & sky on the left overpower the lone rocks & light ocean in the lower right. I'm just wondering if there is a different vantage point that could yield a more pleasing balance. Regards, Jeff Link to comment
