jasonjherring 0 Posted December 20, 2014 This is both a color and BW version of the same image, an image of a woman named "Nicole" who I interviewed and took imagery of as part of my documentary photojournalism project "Women of the Sex Trades". "Nicole" spent time working on web sex act streaming and as an alcoholic, wasn't sure if she drank to cope with it or whether she did it to get the money to drink. The goal of the project is to show real women and how their work in the sex industry has affected them. I can't decide on this image which one I like better. Color or BW? Your thoughts appreciated... st_phanie_bret 0 Posted December 20, 2014 I prefer the "colour" one, but maybe for your work the BW one would add a little drama? Link to comment
jerry_m 17 Posted December 20, 2014 In this set, based on the pose and the background, I prefer the black and white image. In your second set of the same person, based on the pose and the background, I prefer the color image. That is just my opinion. hope it helps. Jerry Link to comment
AlainD 0 Posted December 20, 2014 In my opinion the colour one is more aesthetic and for some strange reason (because B&W usually adds drama, as suggested by Stéphanie) the colour image generates more emotions in me. Good luck for your choice!Best regards,Alain Link to comment
