photogagog 0 Posted December 16, 2014 Hi Tom,Thanks for sharing. I see what you are trying to accomplish here but it falls shy of the mark. You did a good job of focusing on the woman and the right depth of field for both the fore and back grounds. I like the colors - red=passion/danger. She's an attractive woman, a femme fatal. What's killing this image is that there is way too much bald head and ear in the foreground; and the the t-shirted frat boy in the background, though not as egregious, is still distracting. I like the lighting on her face, but it look apparent that she's squinting from the light (or caught mid-blink) rather than concentration. Also, her dress at the bottom right is way too under exposed; that combined with the detail-less floating head leaves the bottom right quadrant without context or improvement. --PatrickD Link to comment
