it is nice and sharp but it lacks a good composition.

if you want it to have a blue backdrop, sky, i would recomment to try a different framing.

also the black outline is disturbung me.

exposure and sharpness is fine but as a photograph i find it to be rather boring.

if you want ot to be like this, but it into the middle of the frame, and compose an rising arch with its back.

 

left to right diagnals ...when the element goes from top left to bottom right, it is negative.

 

if it goes from bottom left to top right it is positive
.

 

in western culture.

read something about art history and composition and test it on the cat.

make monumental cat photos :)

This composition doesn't have the focus of your other similar shot ... maybe a much tighter crop on the head? Thanks for sharing ...

Thanks Norbet & J for your critique.I agree focusing the composition of just the head would have being better proposition as its a little unbalanced the way it is.   Thanks again.  John
