chiwaz 1 Posted December 9, 2014 I've tried a rather extreme b/w conversion, to render it more dramatic. Link to comment
scotttyrrell 0 Posted December 9, 2014 Well, it works for me. This shot has a spiritual feel to it, almost as though she is rising up to heaven. It is a slight shame about the light falloff on her legs, but in a way it supports the rising into the light interpretation! Great shot, thanks. Link to comment
chiwaz 1 Posted December 9, 2014 Thank you Scott, your reading of the picture is right. I had a first version where her legs were almost merged in the darkness of the background, but it was too heavy and murky. I think it works better like this. Link to comment
morophaenixmau 27 Posted December 9, 2014 Caro Gabriele, questa figura sembra galleggiare nel buio da cui nasce. Perfetti i dettagli del corpo scolpiti in un B/W da maestro. Link to comment
chiwaz 1 Posted December 9, 2014 Grazie Maurizio, sei sempre gentile. C'è qualche trucco, comunque :D Link to comment
gsphotoguy 3 Posted December 10, 2014 I like this image a lot. The idea of the woman taking flight is terrific. I like the way the light sculpts her body. The darker legs are fine and have enough detail so it doesn't look like her torso is floating. Link to comment
