Pierre Dumas 302 Posted December 10, 2014 Dear Laura, I know we completely agree now, I said you were right to some extent meaning you should take in consideration what I wrote! I didn't tell the "extent" in % and I now can say more % in your benefit, ha! Cheers to that with Sangria! Abrazo PDE Link to comment

chris_panagiotidis 0 Posted December 10, 2014 I saw your elaborate latest stream of places in this painterly mood and I am fascinated! You are a painter armed with pixels instead of brushes! On this one: I like the fact the place is deserted, naked of human presence, a sight looking like what the night guard of the area sees early in the morning. I also like the not correcting of the converging verticals , an important detail which betrays the photographic heritance of the image. It is like if these low and humble edifices are towering the visitor, demanding and claiming of his/her attention. Above all, I like the mood which emerges from every corner of the image and its threatening sky,a pure result of your effort, as well as the composition which unforcedly leads the eye towards the end of the alley. Warm regards! Link to comment

michaellinder 16,613 Posted December 10, 2014 So, Maestro, it's back to brushes and pastels? You created a mesmerizing palette of hauntingly soft, beautiful colors. They interact symbiotically with a variety of lines and shapes, resulting in the viewer's not being able to look away. And, to boot, this all occurs under a delicately painted sky. My best always, michael Link to comment

trisha jean-angela 5 Posted December 15, 2014 Looks like a very colorful ghost town! In fact, the first thing I thought of was a movie in which Clint Eastwood has the townspeople paint the town red and the sign which bears the town's name and a welcome was then changed to "Welcome to Hell"! I can't remember the name of the movie but I think it might be Pale Rider. Obviously, your ghost town here is not Hell and is quite lovely and artistic! Very creative and well done! Thank you for sharing. :)I just remembered the name of the movie; High Plains Drifter! Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 302 Posted December 15, 2014 Welcome and thank you, Trisha! I haven't seen that film or I don't remember, although Clint Eastwood is one my favorite artists! You composed your comment very well using the theme of that film, ha! PDE Link to comment
