Boys N Frogs - Summertime Friends !

Yes, such wonderful days spent in the sun enjoying the company of a boy that reminded me of my childhood or my brothers when younger!

Very Good. I gave it a title before looking at yours and we were in total accord.  

I particularly like the warm light on the left side of his face and the floral background is most appealing. This is an image to cherish. I was looking at a photo of my two granddaughters that I took in 2009 and seeing them last night as I helped the family with Christmas decorations, I marveled at their change and now cherish that 2009 image even more. I suspect that will be the case with this image.   There was a part of me wondering if I would have placed the boy so centrally in the image and those doubts quickly left me as it is a fine shot indeed.

Hi Tony, the young fellow was doing his best not to let the frog slip from his grasp!!! I just shot as I could. I thought of cropping so he was not in the centre, but I liked the background of the Garden in this part of the Ecology Park so much I left it alone. Many thanks for your very kind words and encouragement. I wish I could have taken my grandchildren there this summer but I did not see them too often during the summer season this year. Maybe this summer!
