The painting maybe alright, or even a masterpiece( i can't tell) but your photo includes so many distracting elements (copier, desks, white paper on desk, the sun on the wall, a small part of a chair) that is almost impossible to focus on the painting.

But even if we do focus, is it still art of photography? Just taking pictures of others people art without any contribution of your own?

Considering that I am the artist (it is a photograph of a photograph, not a framed painting), I would argue that the contribution is entirely my own. On my monitor, which is quite large, the details are perfectly clear. But upon further consideration, I agree that the unnecessary clutter of copier, desk, etc, are in fact a distraction. However, this was posted for the benefit of the small group who consistently and kindly comment upon my work. But since you are not familiar with my work, I understand that you might assume this image to be a photograph of a painting.

My apology, but then why don't you let us enjoy the original photo as it is.

The original image really seems very interesting photo.

Keep on shooting,

Mike
