Hi Maarten,

if you can't think of a thing to say about an image, not sure if it has any emotional connection and that translates into the image.  Sometimes a picture is just a picture.  That being said, i'll give a critique of the composition.

I think you done a good job with the exposure as nothing is over/under exposed (though the top right is getting washed out).  capturing a moving object/animal with a narrow DoF is hard, but you were able to get it at just the right time.  I think the focus is on the nose (literally) and so the eyes are slightly soft.  I like that you've positioned the dog on the left and allowed plenty of room forward and in the direction he/she is moving.  The dog's tongue is in a weird place and does not compliment the image well.  The angle of the dog doesn't allow us to see the whole body so the action is muted.

Overall not a compelling image and probably has more emotional connection to you than the viewer.
