jbrand 0 Posted September 23, 2003 This is an interesting photo, with the fissure in the rocks leading toward the color interest. It could have been better if the rocks in the fore- and mid-ground had not been overexposed. Link to comment
pawel_stradowski 0 Posted September 23, 2003 Well exposed, cropping is fine, but I have doubts if I would want to see that picture that often. Still a good picture Link to comment
tcb.photo 0 Posted September 23, 2003 The detail and changing colors of the trees and blue sky are all very nice. I really like how the crack leads your eye to mthe "Swirling" cloud. An interesting photo. Well composed and well taken Link to comment
jeff d 1 Posted September 23, 2003 Predrag, You did a nice job with this one. I love that swirled cloud. The dark chasm offsets it nicely. The shadow of the tree adds a little touch to it as well. Good job! Link to comment
ross_warner2 0 Posted September 23, 2003 Nice photo. Might I suggest a crop just below the leaves in the lower right. I find the rock in the lower right distracting. Slightly less bright may also be of benefit. Link to comment
koval 0 Posted September 23, 2003 When I looked at this first time I was a bit suprised. So much is going on ,..but no much is to be touched on this photo. >>SHadow .. .very original forground WOW ...And the movment of the clouds ..Well done . PK . Link to comment
jay_patel 0 Posted September 24, 2003 Good exposure, but I find nothing special about this photo that draws me to it. Link to comment
brandon hale 0 Posted September 24, 2003 I like the clouds very much and the color but I would have croped this image and left out most of the rock in the foreground I think. Nice clouds though! Brandon Link to comment
peten 0 Posted September 24, 2003 I like the foreground to background contrast & the branch shadow on the rock is great.I think the crop suggested works to the benefit of the shot.Regards Pete. Link to comment
cq_zhang 0 Posted September 25, 2003 Well done. The cropped version works better for me. Personally, I like to see sharper and more contrast effects on clouds and ground. Link to comment
paul_frank 0 Posted September 26, 2003 i am i the only one to notice the yellow/red color cast? maybe it's my monitor. It's also a little flat, in my opinion. I like the idea of the shadow as the foreground subject, and the cloud pattern is unusual, but otherwise i'm not drawn into the scene, it seems sort of formulaic - the vertical wideangle landscape with emphasized foreground. i'm not seeing anything that really grabs me. mudshark 0 Posted September 27, 2003 While there are a number of nice elements here,I especially like the foreground shadow, I agree with Paul Frank. I don't see anything that makes me want to come back for repeated viewing. Link to comment
