I also like the moderate sepia and wonder why the positioning isn't by the rules of composition?! However, excellent portrait, reminds me of Hemingway!

I know Y.K.'s Hamingway portrait, and mine was made "after" his. As the other photos I've uploaded in the last days are "after" rather well known portraits. Fantastic to know somebody who worked for Y.K. One of my best!

Just to clear up a possible misunderstanding, I didn't work for Karsh, I simply admire his work, and that of others who emulate it, whether intentionally or by accident.  Nothing wrong with being held in the same league as one of the 'greats'. :-)  Your subject's eyes have great intensity and clarity and his direct gaze produces much intimacy.  Best, LM.
