Thanks so much for your kind comment! He wouldn't mind you picking him up and hugging him a bit since he loves to hug and cuddle, especially at story-time. Thanks for letting me know you like this one; I appreciate it very much! :)

TATJANA and VALENTYN,

Thank you so much for your kind words and attention to this photo; I appreciate it very much! Elijah was resting for a bit after chasing my cat, Cali (she is at the other end of the lawn, out of view and hiding under a rose bush). Soon after I took this picture, he got up to give it another try - good thing for me that he LOVES kitties! :) Thank you again! :)

So this must be your son and the reason why we are missing you from photo.net.  I am going to guess that your highly protective instinct has you only showing his back. He is probably so cute that you don`t want to put us in a hypnotic state.  Hoping that we will see `more`  ... photos that is.  (*_*).

If truth be told, I don't want you to post anything here that would make mom and dad uncomfortable. I felt (and still do) the same way regarding my granddaughters. And when I do post,  I never provide names.

All the best and keep on shooting!

From behind and I believe he is even cuter from the other side! Well chosen kind of neutral environment! Well done, Trisha!

Best regards

TONY,

LOL! Your comment had me rolling with laughter! Thank you so much for that! And thank you also for your kind words and sharing your thoughts with me. Yes, you are right - I am being protective of family and at this time I am not comfortable with showing him from the front, but take my word for it, he is SOOOOOoooo Adorable! And smart as can be (I think we have another engineer or doctor in the family). And yes, you are also right about another thing - I wouldn't want to put anyone into a hypnotic state! LOL! (I'm still laughing...)

Thanks again for your visit and kind comments. I am happy you like this photo! :)

PIERRE,

Thank you so much for your visit and kind comments; I appreciate it very much! And yes, he is cuter from the other side! LOL! (I'm shameless with no humility when it comes to this boy!)

I am happy you like the environment as I tried to keep the flower border out of this photo so it wouldn't distract from the subject. Again, thanks for sharing your thoughts with me and your visit! I am happy you like this photo! :)

Of course, the subject matter itself pulls at heartstrings--those little toes and that cotton candy, wispy hair.  But visually, I think it's the position of his legs paired with the lawnmower tracks that tell the story.  A sense of a life ahead of him, extending WAY outside of the frame.

Ahhh, always love to see such little beauties!!! Yes they grow up far too fast.  Those adorable hugs that Grandma gets continue....but as they become pre teens....it changes.  I miss this age. Looks like he has not had his first haircut yet??? adorable curls. I like the Perspective in this shot. Great feeling of depth!

Hi Trisha, he is very cute. I like the way you have sensitively taken this photo, with his back to viewer and looking away - it makes you wonder what has got his attention or if he is daydreaming away! If he's your son, well done you. All the best. Sarah.

I like your comments and POV on this photo of Elijah - the life ahead of him, extending way outside the picture. I hope it's a great one! Thank you so much for your visit and kind comments; I appreciate them very much and I'm happy you stopped by! So good to hear from you! :)

LEN

You are probably right - Heaven help me! I'm in no hurry for this little innocent one to grow up though - he brings me lots of laughter and joy in my life. Thank you so much for your visit and taking the time to share your thoughts with me; I appreciate it very much! :)

GAIL

I agree, they grow up too fast! I wish I could find a way to slow it down sometimes because I love this age too - so uninhibited and curious, always learning, laughing. Thank you so much for your visit and kind comments on this little munchkin; I really appreciate it! I'm going to cherish the hugs! :)

SARAH

Truth be told, what had his attention was my calico cat, Cali. He was having fun chasing her around in the backyard trying to "play" with her. He sat for a moment trying to plot a new way to get to her while she hid in the bushes. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving your kind words; I appreciate it very much and I am happy you like this photo! :)
