Excellent. The object in space. There's something here that resonates on a deeper level but any attempt at rational explanation seems a foolhardy exercise.

Looks under exposed. If you shot it in RAW you can fix that if not you should be able to recover it with a levels adjustment. Just a thought.

Interesting shot. If its a print maybe you could dodge the stone so that it would come out paler. If its a negative scan you could still adjust the levels and maybe bring more contrast out.

From composition I would somehow rather see the stone off-set a little to the right. Maybe a little cropping on the right side would help. It would then have to main components: the pale stone, and the dark line of trees.

In any case an image well worth analyzing and commenting on.
