The bronze sculpture is a certain pope, here still wearing the tiara or triple* crown. This crown roughly got used from 750 untill 2000, this with the papal title VICARIUS FILII DEI on it. Latin for: 'Vicar Son of God'. (In fact blasphemous) This title/name however is official, and also (proven) officially documented by Rome, but today often denied in giving people the idea of a pope being just a mere man. If so and also officially seen, why would all presidents, world- and religious leaders invited in the Vatican, bow (by moving head or knee) for this mere man, and even are allowed, if permitted, to kiss his hand or papal ring?! In 1996 in the UN the pope got also officially stated as the Head of all religious leaders of the World religions, this by this leaders being present there.

* Triple stands for: "The Pope alone is deservedly called by the name 'most holy', because he alone is the vicar of Christ.. "He - the pope - is likewise the divine monarch and supreme emperor, and king of kings.. 'Hence the pope is crowned with a triple crown, as king of heaven and of earth and of the lower regions.. Moreover the superiority and the power of the Roman Pontiff by no means pertain only to heavenly things, to earthly things, and to things under the earth, but are even over angels, than whom he is greater.. For he is of so great dignity and of power that he forms one and the same tribunal with Christ..

"The pope is as it were God on earth, sole sovereign of the faithful of Christ, chief king of kings, having plenitude of power, to whom has been intrusted by the omnipotent God direction not only of the earthly but also the heavenly kingdom.. The pope is of so great authority and that he can modify, explain, or interpret even devine laws."

Translated from Lucius Ferraris, Prompta Bibliotheca, art, "Papa", II, Vol. VI.

Significant: The 'black' pope - head of the Jesuits - has the 'real' RC power.
