I like everything about this portrait except her expression. I am seeing someone who isn't showing any interest in what is taking place.

"They eyes are the window to the soul" and you captured hers beautifully!

Technically well done with good color, out-of-focus background, great makeup and skin texture and good pose.  In my opinion, this is not an image that communicates a message from the photographer to the viewer.  She is an object, a very pretty object and, like other pretty objects be it flower or scenic or anything else, she reflects light in "pretty" fashion.  She is a human object and has the potential to display an engaged humanness full of a thousand expressions and poses and stories.  Each viewer gets to take this pretty human object out of the picture and bring her to life in their mind complete with whatever self-made context and personal story emerge therein.  This image is not about the photographer as much as it is about the viewer of this image.

Ha, coincidence, she wrote me a note on Fb yesterday .. : -) .. an excellent portrait of a subject that doesn't often reveal something so personal. One of the best portraits I have seen of this excellent model.
