october - hurtling along A Mummified Umbrella

Gads, Jack!  That is one spooky dead umbrella.  Makes one think about the nature of things.  Great shot.

Thanks for the comments on this picture. I shot this same umbrella almost exactly two years ago on Halloween 2012. Who knows how many years ago someone discarded it in itss niche/ crypt where it silently waits...and waits...and waits.

"I thought this is a dead insect..mummified" - I also thought it was an insect in a cocoon and that at one point it would would turn into an angel with wings.  

You certainly can find them... What a great eye you have Jack! Love this creature I do.
