In full McRitchiovision. On this wonderful image, and greatly titled image, I'd like a back story. What was this, and how big was it? I could ask you how you saw it, but as that great American Foghorn Leghorn would say "knowing the answer wouldn't do me any good anyhow".

I see a person who is a dis-incarnate commie being gobbled up by Big Brother because of Snowden's revelations.

Thanks for the comments. Emmanuel, this image was taken off a wall on one of my ramblings last January. Yeah, I'm that far behind though I toil at my computer daily. It's the price I pay for such indiscriminate shooting. I can't remember much more than that; it was an awful long while ago and you know the memory system isn't what it used to be. As you can see, I didn't have to do much but I still managed to spend an inordinate amount of time fussing over the picture. At this rate, I don't think I'll ever be able to catch up

Thanks for the comment. You snuck yours in while I was replying to the previous two guys. Quite a vivid imagination you have there, son.

It looks like the guide is a stern taskmaster.  After all, he is holding in his right hand a reminder to his followers not to fall asleep during meditation.

The image certainly is faithful when it comes to the color of a monk's robe.  It also looks like the monk has a long, heavily textured beard.

 . . . one hand clapping?

Straight out of a tapestry tale. Even the background suggests a misty forrest. Thank you, Jack for giving our imaginations a daily workout. I always look forward to your offerings
