Wolfgang - Thanks for the link. True enough. Exponential progress and accelerating returns along with both expected and unexpected consequences of those returns. We never really stop and think and ask the question : but at what cost? Sometimes I think when it comes to actual behavioral change, humankind spends much of its time coming up with fancier and fancier hamster wheels that give the illusion of movement without actually taking us anywhere.
