Pierre Dumas 266 Posted October 17, 2014 Yes, John! You are right, but most of the people don't buy meaningful pictures to hang them on their wall!I also find the Eiffel tower sexy, ha! Kidding! Cheers to that! PDE Link to comment
John Peri 1,029 Posted October 17, 2014 The Eiffel Tower eh, Pierre, I hate to think what your psychiatrist would say .. : -) cheers to you Pierre. Link to comment

AJBart 9 Posted October 17, 2014 An imaginative composition to be sure. Love the fog in the scene. AJ Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 266 Posted October 17, 2014 I made it to try to apply fog to my images which were very crisp usually! Thank you for your visit, AJ! PDE Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted October 19, 2014 Hmmm . . . I think I am bearing witness to the retelling of legend. The bird in the foreground (not a sparrow in my opinion - a raptor of some kind) is full of life as demonstrated by the intensity of its gaze - so intense that the bird has to cross its eyes. It clearly is looking straight ahead, into the present with hopes for the future. Its feathers are clearly defined and beautifully colored. However, the further the viewer's eye moves toward the background, the foggier and darker the environment becomes. The tree closer to the foreground still has a little color and possibly a few leaves, while the tree in the background is bereft of color - of life itself. And the horse and rider are taking their last ride. The image symbolizes the passage from life to death and its inevitability. "He not busy being born is busy dying." panayotis_papadopoulos 0 Posted October 19, 2014 The bird looks troubled wondering what the horseman seeks in that foggy surrounding...is it for good or the evil is approaching? time to let the forest critters know about it, let's hope for the best...Another very good story from you my dear friend, Cheers! morophaenixmau 19 Posted October 24, 2014 Mio caro amico, erano un po' di giorni che non tornavo in PN ma eccomi di nuovo subito da te! Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 266 Posted October 24, 2014 Mi stai preoccupando ultimamente, dottore! Link to comment
maria 7 Posted October 25, 2014 well, imagine that I've seen one in Italian television! They are really big, but beautiful, these birds. Link to comment
olafdevries 0 Posted December 16, 2014 I simply love this, the mirrored tree is the deciding secret. Compren? Yes. :) Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 266 Posted December 16, 2014 Thank you, Maria! One thing isn't clear, IE I'm not sure which bird we're talking about! On the caption it is a sparrow which hardly can be true, an owl and eagle remain! It is eagle and there were two of them in the cage and weren't very big! PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 266 Posted December 16, 2014 Olaf, That unhappy cut limb shows at once that it is the same tree, what can I do, it's the only one I have, ha! Thank you for your multiple visit! PDE Link to comment
