Really a nice, soft ambiance to this picture. The illumination coming from the window infuses the picture with a nuanced naturalness. This is a pleasing picture to look at.

Per completare questa bella rossa, mi permetto di suggerire la pasta con i muscoli in un pesto fatto di pinoli, anacardi e nocciole.

Hi Donna: No matter if this was taken, as you classified it, with an iPhone. IMHO it certainly is not the equipment….it's the eye of the photographer. Nay, more than that, it is a moment that caught YOUR eye and your imagination, and you transmit that to the world. Now, the fact that it is in BW, makes this image so much more telling, so spontaneous, that you managed to preserve an instant of eternity, and in a most classical, old-scholl tradition. The cropping of the man on the left adds an even stronger, more special element to this image. The interaction of the waiter with the customer is so enthralling. Wow! I can now see it is almost a motion picture, only that it is a frame of it, telling the whole story. Sincere congratulations.

Thank you so much, dear Daniel, for identifying the story quality of this "scene." a story is exactly what i hope to provide the viewer to connect with in my humble little images... to laugh, to cry, to wonder ;-} dp
