I like this photo a lot as the street texture and liquid tones are highlighted nicely. My mind starts racing with the forms and from there to the title...but you seemed to have kept it close to the ground and choosen the splatter which leaves the road open to imagination which is part of the splendor- beautiful and delicate work under control:) best Hannu

The colours are just outstanding. The blue sky, aching to escape from the bland grey down-to-earthness. A dream leaking its way out into the open.

Thanks for your generous comments on this picture. Glad you liked it. It's a strange thing, once I post a picture, it's like having one of your children move out of the house. I still have an affection for it but I don't have the same close paternal relationship anymore. I feel like it's time to move on to the next picture, the next shooting session. I think I like the hunt more than I do the trophy.

Jack, I like your last sentence. Mostly the process of creating something is more fascinating than the possession of the finished product.
