Firm hand is needed for this kind of pictures, Gail! I can hardly achieve this technical quality with my poor tele-zoom without image stabilization!  The background is well neutralized and the main subject well captured in characteristic for him pose! Well done milady!

Very nice take. I like the crop --- though cropping off the leftmost tower is another option. it also helps getting rid of some of  the white patches. lovely bird. compliments -koushik

wow, so sorry I am so late seeing your comment Pierre. Weird, I took this one with my Macro, handheld, manual focus, and with a healing broken shoulder!!  I think if I used a good zoom I would have had better detail in the feathers. Thanks so much for those kind words Pierre!
