LenMarriott 9 Posted October 16, 2014 Most of the times that I even notice Beech leaves is in the winter. They seem to cling on the branches when all the leaves of other species have fallen off. Here, I found some with green summer colours, the yellow transitioning of autumn, and the brown displayed throughout the winter, and all at one location. Had to capture that! Thanks for your visit. Best, LM.
LenMarriott 9 Posted October 16, 2014 Thanks! I was just strolling through the park one day, in the merry month of ......October....................! :-) Subject of opportunity. Couldn't resist. Best, LM.
Pierre Dumas 492 Posted October 17, 2014 That's what I like, crisp, colorful, well composed, moody! Moody on the bright side! Best regards, Len! PDE
LenMarriott 9 Posted October 17, 2014 I'll take the credit\heat for the composition. The atmospheric conditions were just right for this mood. Heavy overcast, threatening rain, near the end of the afternoon, heading toward evening. (Thus the ISO 6400) Still, the colours beckoned. Thanks for your input. Best, LM.
LenMarriott 9 Posted October 30, 2014 Your constructive comment\critique will be gratefully received. LM.
photo by patsy dunn 1 Posted November 1, 2014 Hi Len, Beautiful fall scene with wonderful colors, composition & details. Take care, Patsy
LenMarriott 9 Posted November 1, 2014 Thanks for the validation on this, my favourite of the series I shot that day. This favourite, being the last shot the day, was not the one I thought it would be before I started the post processing. If something catches your eye it's a good idea to capture it when you see it. Just in case! :-) Best, LM
