The shadows give a feeling of barking dogs held by leash and she is just out of their reach. I don't mean to be too sinister, but that is the first narrative that came to my mind. This is a powerful and frightening image, Drew.

Drew,  One needs a very sharp eye and photographical skill to construct such a set up. Your title is short and appropriate and I sense that lack of breathing air and oppression. The square format does increase tension with a brick wall on one side, the dull paving surface and the solid rough side on the other. This is a compressed, unhealthy environment and the line of shadows of cars seem to add teeth to your message.  Each image of this last serie stands solid in terms of artistic style and subject contents.  I think what you do is really good.  Very best wishes my friend,

Drew, you have turned the scene into something resembling execution by firing squad.  The person is up against the wall and seems to have a hood that is ready to be pulled up over the face.  There is spatter on the ground from a previous execution.  I agree with the others - isolation, fright, violence.

Drew a very original and powerful shot that allows the viewer to tell his/her own story. Well seen and executed, best wishes William.

i like the way you have framed the shot in black. she does seem isolated alomst squeezed in... but then there is the opened area at the end of the frame just enough breathing room.

Striking composition, the whole looks like a jigsaw puzzle built with only a few simple geometric shapes. The little square at the end of the pavement is a door to freedom for the woman who's apparently been caught between a rock and a hard place.

A poetic composition!!!!!!!!!!!

Cornered by cars and modern city life.

The need for breathing more obvious than ever.

Such a beautiful composition. I feel a little sad seeing this picture. She is waiting for someone, but her hope is getting grayer and shadowed.
