Generally a horizon that is not straight is not pleasing to the eye. It's a nice shot but I'd straighten that horizon in a photo program such as Photoshop or PS Elements.

Normally I'd agree with the horizon straightening. In this case, though, considering the canoe in the foreground, I like it.

I feel like I just pulled up to shore in the canoe. If that was your goal, then you accomplished your purpose. I like it.

Nice shot. That leaning horizon disturbs me a little bit, but this is the canoe point of view. I shoot some video clips with a camera mounted on a front deck of my kayak or canoe and this is what you get. A different perspective than that one of a paddler who typically tends to stay in a vertical position.

For me, the leaning and the canoe tip are exactly what grabbed my attention to the rest of the photo. Love it!
