Jack, Very nice mystical image. I have add it to my favourites. I like the combination of the several shapes and the colors.

Transhumanism. The singularity is approaching. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.

Congratulations Jack. You have been awarded level 12 in observational awareness. You are now fastracked for an approval into the inner enclave. Please delete this upon reading.

It's an abstract with great lighting (I don't know how it was produced) and texture and play of lights and forms! Bravo!

Best regards

Mathematics in everyday life; rigid shapes made lively by their texture and signs of decay. Is this a resonance of everyday life, or is it actually everyday life? Is everyday life mystical?

Nice title to play with, even if one I'd not necessarily would apply to this image. But a title is icing on the cake. I love the cake. Yummy.

Aids to meditation this image provides are gratefully accepted.  I'm not sure whether my gaze should fix on the prism to the left or the mandala on the right.  The everyday, indeed . . .

No words suffice to express how much I get from this image.  Besides, words would defeat its purpose.

Something I especially like here is that, while I feel like I'm looking down at this array of elements, I also feel like they are conspiring to lead me up. The built in textures and stains have a nice randomness at play against the more staged geometry (staged, of course, by the framing of your camera). It's weathered yet something new.

I am attracted to the image but not sure what words to write and I see that i am not the only one. Forms, circles, lines and a tiny face with a cigarette  makes it even more intriguing. Is it trapped?

Great image Jack. I like the play of the geometric shapes: The straight lines are parallel or perpendicular to each other and the circular hole cover for contrast. The different textures and tones compliment each other too. Fine work.

now i'm gonna seem like a dolt to jes' say it's mighty purdy. i like that there alien smiley face yonder on the right. no seriously...as others have quipped, the panoply of textures and geometry are quite pleasing. those of us of a certain age will see the anemic square on the left as a photo slide, and in it's robotic way it stares at us just as the star spangled alien does-- though without the suggestion of insouciance.  rich, contemplative work, sir!

Unmistakeable yours. A work of art where silence prevails and meaning abounds by stirring the subconscious. A treasure of a find, and capturing it to share is noble as is your work.

Hello Jack, This is an awesome catch with diagrammatic reasoning. Your ability to work out new concepts and abstract ideas are always my reason to visit you often. Like this abstract here you let us exercises the purpose to recognise patterns and similarities between shapes and figures. Best regards.

Your City has so many artistic offerings, and you have the 'eye' to find them. Well done Jack. I think there will be many thoughts offered on this composition.

Hi Jack,

This is a very engaging image...very nicely conceived and presented. I think it would be very powerful in a large (as in over-the-sofa) presentation where the subtle colors and true power of the shapes can speak in full voice.

Fabulous!

Please excuse my belated response and thanks for your generous comments. I'm glad this picture somehow resonated with you as it did with me. You just never know when the most ordinary of images might metamorphose into something completely unexpected and deeper - at least in some dimly understood way.
