Pierre Dumas 274 Posted September 12, 2014 Welcome and thank you, Jack! If he can see the fish there where they are, good for him! Certainly he will approve! Cheers PDE Link to comment

benhuybrechts 0 Posted September 13, 2014 It is nice to see you are still making art in your own distinct style. Well Done. Ben Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 274 Posted September 13, 2014 God morning and welcome Ben, Long time no see my friend! As for the same style, yes, this is an old picture already exposed here with filter poster edges, now without! Thanks for your visit and comment! PDE Link to comment
michaellinder 16,612 Posted September 15, 2014 A squadron of attackfish circling the perimeter to line up the best angle of approach to the unsuspecting, unwitting fisherman who is minding his own business, enjoying the calm and peace of the water. He has no idea what's about to happen; if he did, the boat would be pointing the other way. Brilliant!! michael Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 274 Posted September 16, 2014 Wrong Michael! Those who are in Heaven don't attack, don't sick for revenge, they all, no matter what kind they belong to, there live in perfect peace and harmony! And it is obvious on the picture, they don't even look at their former enemy! He's there only to illustrate what was their life on Earth (water, that is)! Now they are free and happy! Thank you for your interpretation! Cheers PDE Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted September 18, 2014 I really like your 'vision' with this one Pierre. It speaks of 'Hope and Love and Harmony'. All things that are so lacking here on Earth in many places. I like the 'direction' you chose to go with this composition dear Pierre. Hoping you have had a good summer, :) Gail Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 274 Posted September 18, 2014 Welcome and thank you, dear Gail! This summer was the rainiest in the history of our country and the neighborhood! Four neighboring countries had awful floods, not here, thanks God! You have been absent for quite some time from the last your comment, how is going the recovering, hope well! Best regards and wishes for soon definite recovery! PDE Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted September 18, 2014 I find this image to be very harmonious with lots of great balance.A previous comment says: "The colours in this image catch my attention, above all the blue all-enveloping, water and sky and the yellow reflections. Yes, these fishes are called "scalar" and I am in total agreement. I like the way you have positioned the fish which mimics the shape of the fish which also mimics the shape of the faint cloud. Did I mention the driftwood and the fisherman with the boat?A masterful job as usual. Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted September 18, 2014 Yes, a school of flying fish! Can't fool me on this one. The elements of your composition are excellently placed to fill the frame in a balanced way and to keep the eye moving in a circular route from one to the other. Nicely done! Best, LM. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 274 Posted September 20, 2014 Thank you Tony, I'm very flattered with your nice comment and it means to me a lot, great encouragement! PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 274 Posted September 20, 2014 Welcome and thank you, Len! I know you are not after this kind of images and you positive comment makes me very happy! Thank you for that! PDE Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted September 20, 2014 Just because I don't possess your eye or your talent doesn't mean I can't appreciate it. Always a treat to see your latest. Best, LM. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 274 Posted September 20, 2014 It's not talent, Len! It is laziness, IE I almost don't go out to take pictures and I'm stuck up on some screen, PC or TV! It's easier to me to make montages of what I already have than to take pictures! As for an eye, photographer's eye, I think you have two and very good ones, ha! Cheers to that PDE Link to comment
