Holger,

Your title is excellent and your composition is spot-on.  And, this all works very well in your b/w version.  Well done.

Holger, very nice portrait with great  effect of the light & shadow, contrast, also the crisp sharp, and dark bg. make the image more depth & unusual mood.      Best regards

Looks like interesting character and the background is black which is the best solution by me, but difficult to achieve (my experience)

Best regards, Holger!

I really like your processing of this very 'intimate window' as seen in this POV. It has a 'soft edge' that I find quite engaging Holger. Nice work, hope you've had a good summer :) Gail

An expression which hints that he might know something you don't.  Chalky highlights are reminiscent of our high speed film days and give it a classic touch.  The lighting pattern on his face sculpts it's features nicely and your camera orientation helps with the filling of the frame with only the essentials.  As someone else said, a fine candid portrait.  Best, LM.

Original composition of an interesting young man , the reflection on the eye glasses makes the image attractive for me. Great contrast ! Warm regards.
