and more!(hand written) but who else would extract the best of Osaka mundane life with such exquisite subtleties.  Beyond the simplicity of this photograph with cool jazzy colours... what's more is probably a "feel" of that genuine human touch!

The colors and the late afternoon light.  It is a quiet, yet pleasing, amusing, and somehow mysterious as well.  I could see this as the cover to a book of your photos, Jack.  Just the hint of Japanese writing on the column to give it provenance.  "Osaka, Photographs by Jack McRitchie".  You should consider doing a book, Jack.
