Thanks a lot Garry! i'm amazed at what this iPhone can do! i do a lot of PP fussing in my work generally because i like to get a picture to show as i think it should; nonetheless, that iPhone has a real camera in it, lol... ;-} dp

I like the vintage feel to this provided by the bike in the background and the faded and muted colors; even her hair and outfit are somewhat 70's (I think the only give-away to modern day is the phone). I have tried to take photos from my iPhone but light is always an issue, not to mention the constant blur that would otherwise be known as my 19 month old grandson! I've thought of posting some of them but not sure anyone would appreciate them. I appreciate this one; good job with the atmosphere - I love the shadow and the stories one could write in one's own imagination...  Thank you for sharing. :)

Thanks, Trisha! It's so cool that people are actually enjoying these little iPhone stories ;) I have to be patient for these shots to appear... The iPhone manages to capture great depth; I just wait for the depth, the kind of shot I luv anyway because depth helps portray a story. First and foremost, I try to be a storyteller... And the iPhone can do! I'd luv to see yours.. You just have to keep shooting til you figure out how the iPhone can fit your style! ;-} do

Quite some reactions to this shot.

To Fred I would like to say that "aren't they all snapshots" is not to be taken literally.

I wanted to hyperbolically point out that the concept of "snapshot" is to me totally undefined, may you take it positively or negatively.

The comment is just a "non-comment", that's what I wanted to say.

Hi Donna,

Thank you for your pleasent words on some of my photos. They made me come here to see your work and this image standed out immediately. I didn't read the endless lines of the previous comments but I suppose that if the greatness of an image is proportional to the reaction it may cause than all this discussion makes justice to this one. For me, this is a spot on example on how unbalancing compositions may be the trick to make interesting an otherwise dull scene. I am also enchanted by the pale tones and the agressive contrast.

Thanks again. Regards,

ricardo
