Ohaio Osame: Your image is very attractive. Fine detail and use of DOF. Great color, but I have a couple of observations, with all due respect. The stem is a bit overblown (too harsh a white), and, with such a beautiful subject and so well captured, I would have taken advantage of a fuller crop. You may have had some unwanted background, perhaps forcing you to this crop, which is fine, but the beauty of this flower and image could probably offer some other POV to appreciate it fully. Great work!

DG - thanks for taking time to leave a comment.  the cropping is intentional.  i wanted to focus on the details of the tip of the stem.  after some struggles, i chose the angle i chose and the crop.  i wanted the petal focused to enhance the details of the stem tip.  unfocused petals are a contrast to the focused petal.  all for balance.  the viewers would know that it is a flower.  this angle is fully intended.
