Dominick and Mike - Thanks. I have corrected the typo. This is an image from my 2009 road trip from Montreal to Alaska  that I had not shared.

This is really a unique picture. The reflections of the two triangular hills turns this into a surprising marriage of landscape and geometry that works on both levels. And then there's that solitary canoe floating serenely by. Very nice work indeed.

Is superb Tony, this icy blue, detritus rocks, green of the forest, reflection all make from this a so good landscape, canoe is a bonus for sure. What I would like to be is a larger version because there are so many details to be seen and delight with this perfect image.

kind regards

Dominick, Mike M, Maurizio, Jack, Patsy, Gunnar, Radu, AJ, Charles and Dana - your visit and comments are all appreciated.

This was an image taken in 2009 when I made my 6 week road trip from Montreal to Alaska and back.  I ran into it again recently and wondered why I had not shared it.  On the original, there is more at the top and the bottom with a lightness similar to the top right and bottom right corners. The lightness was attracting my attention and drawing me away from what I thought was attractive in the image.

In the end I cropped equal portions from the top and bottom.

That is my story and i am sticking to it!

All the very best and thanks again,
