I am not sure if any part of the image is focused correctly here unless this is the sense you wanted us to get.

I agree that the bottom of the feather is a bit out of focus. In my opinion, the rest of the feather is so interesting that the bottom becomes relatively unimportant. It is the overall visual impact what counts, and certainly your image does that, so, well done!
