Icarus has not yet made his tragic mistake, since his wings still are intact.  Actually his wings might be construed as a laurel wreath.  This would feed into the legend of Icarus and Daedelus inasmuch as the commendation would be quite premature.

This is a brilliantly conceived an executed image.   You could have gone the expected route of a brighter exposure.  My congratulations for not marching with the crowd.
