Foreground is nice. Something bothers me with the background though. Mostly the grainy texture of it on the top. Not enough though to ruin the first good impression of the overall image.

What a lovely dog you have. Sam appears to have a gentleness of spirit and appears to be very playful as well. Aren't we fortunate to have such loving friends? Love this shot!
