A vertical composition on this image may have proved to be a better choice. In my opinion showing the entire bird would have added some interest. Your exposure is on target, but I think a little fill flash would have helped in three ways: it would have brought out more detail in the fish, added a catch-light in the eye of the bird, and given an impression of sharpness even beyond the sharpness that you have already achieved. All that being said, I think you can/should be proud of this shot as is.
