Not Here 93 Posted July 29, 2014 Perfect! I like how in all the confusion this couple just stands out. Well done... Mike
jorge_fernandez3 2 Posted July 29, 2014 The man in the couple's expression makes the image! I spend some time looking at the people. The fact that some people are sitting and others standing provides for the perfect opening where you stood. Or perhaps you are on a second froor. Great street composition. Warm regards.
LenMarriott 9 Posted July 29, 2014 Some people of that era simply can't control themselves. :-) Thanks for your visit & comment. Best, LM.
LenMarriott 9 Posted July 29, 2014 Yes, there were certainly a sea of faces at this event. What you see here is but a fraction of the total. I was in a stairwell about 5 or 6 ft. above the level of the street. The music started ("It's now or never") and these guys were simply overcome. :-) Best, LM.
LenMarriott 9 Posted August 3, 2014 Good of you to take the time. Yes, all the faces can be easily seen but most of their expressions (to me at least) don't reflect the good time that the sounds coming from the stage were projecting. Kind of like they were all sipping stale burnt coffee from yesterday. Perhaps a 'little something' added to that coffee was needed to loosen them up a bit. :-) Best, LM.
Mohammed Magdy 17 Posted August 5, 2014 every face has and tells it's own story .. so deep one ... Lovely shot. Thanks for sharingMM
LenMarriott 9 Posted August 5, 2014 A few sad stories by the look of some in the crowd. :-( Thanks for your participation on this offering. Best, LM.
LenMarriott 9 Posted August 15, 2014 Your constructive comment\critique will be gratefully received. LM
Pierre Dumas 498 Posted August 16, 2014 Great documentary or should we call it life photo, nevertheless very artistically rendered and looks great! Congratulations, Len! Best regards PDE
LenMarriott 9 Posted August 16, 2014 Either or both would do I guess. A slice of life from the Collingwood Elvis Festival in 2014. Thanks for your visit & comment. Best, LM.
thadley 72 Posted August 22, 2014 Fabulous shot and I like it in BW. I am thinking that you made the surrounding crowd a bit darker so the focus could be on the dancing couple and that is effective whether you did or not. Another winner!
charo 3 Posted August 22, 2014 You have captured a beautiful moment here, Len. I like this couple dancing among the crowd. Interesting image with enough details and much to look at!Kind Regards,Rosario.
LenMarriott 9 Posted August 22, 2014 I have a new found respect for your powers of observation. I did indeed 'burn' the surrounding crowd a tad for the very reason you stated. My hope was that it wouldn't be too obvious & since you are the only one so far who's said they noticed it I feel my manipulation is a success. Thanks for your visit & comment. Best, LM.
LenMarriott 9 Posted August 22, 2014 Search any crowd an you'll likely spot an anomaly worth recording, something that stands out from the rest. Even the guy on the left trying to record a photo with his cell phone could have been singled out for attention. Thanks for your always welcome visits. Best, LM.
