Nice candid shot, but the post capture blurring is over done. It's so strong that it distracts from the image.

Thanks for your comment.  I appreciate your taking the time to do so.  This particular photo was given an "Honours" at our club of 150 people in Auckland, New Zealand and was also awarded Best Projected Image of the evening, so can't be too bad !  :)

Hmm, well consider me a bit surprised. Like I said, I think it's a well captured scene. It's just that the blurring lures my attention away, instead of focusing it on the subject. But that's just my perception, and it's helpful to know where my personal tastes differ from other peoples. Thanks for replying.

Hey, we all see things differently so that's what makes life interesting, Siegfried.  Maybe I was just lucky with the judge we had on the night - it certainly happens (both ways) !
