I think this would have been better with a much faster shutter speed at somewhere around f5.6. fwiw. 

Nice colors - almost an abstract shot. I would have used either a much slower shutter speed to get a more abstract look, or a much faster one to stop the action. I like the colors and I totally see why you took the shot; I would have, too.

I much appreciate both of your comments.  This is where Photo.net is so very useful for my understanding of what I could have done better.  I am definitely taking those ideas on board.
