The image is strong but I wish you had been able to get a difference in texture between her skin and her blouse on the left ( her right ). i also might have brought the crop in on the same side to eliminate the look of her arm being amputated. The contrast overall is excellent.

my thanks again. my attempt was to blur the boundaries between flesh and covering on the extreme right and left of the body (shadow and light, respectively). i'll try a reprint tomorrow.

i've perused your portfolio; excellent work. demands a good night's sleep and some fresh coffee from me. i'm looking forward to setting aside some time tomorrow to take it all in.

-edit- i realize that i did achieve this:

but clearly it is not effective. reprint is in order.

chiaroscuro - a word borrowed from Italian ("light and shade" or

"dark") referring to modeling by depicting light and shade by

contrasting them boldly.
