eugbro 2 Posted July 1, 2014 This appears to be an interesting departure in your landscapes. It has a sense of foreboding akin to an early silent film like Nosferatu. The foreground is starkly contrasted and well-rendered by your TSE lens, but I don't find it worthy of the remaining scope of the composition. Perhaps there was a lower or more forward perspective that might have been more effective? Overall, quite striking though! Link to comment
AlainD 0 Posted July 1, 2014 Thanks to both of you for your nice comments. Eugene: you're right. I was not really enthousiastic about this foreground. But of the serie, this image is in my opinion the one with the best cloud configuration around the rocks. I could try a "lanscape" crop, though. Anyway I will soon work on other images of the serie, some with a more discrete foreground. Thanks for the input! Link to comment
