laurie young 0 Posted May 16, 2001 This photo was taken on FP4 pushed to 200 to reduce shaddow detail. Done in an attemtp to recreate the effects of the film used by 30s and 40s Hollywood photographers. I'm pleased with this photo as I managed to get it published. But I would like to know what you all think of it Inspired by "Gretta Garbo" taken by Clarence Sinclair Bull Link to comment
brian_mcneil1 0 Posted May 16, 2001 I think this is a great photo. The expression of the model and the subtle tonality create a very nice 'mood'. I also feel that the one hand pointed right and the other pointed left yields a great composition. I'm not sure how I feel about the background... I can't tell if I would like it better if it were darker, lighter, or just as is. Anyway, a great shot. Link to comment
kramer 0 Posted October 20, 2001 I can't understand the relatively low rating on this one. I think it's an outstanding photo. Link to comment
gauthier 0 Posted November 27, 2001 Cannot understand either. Composition is great, lighting right on spot and I always liked the feel of FP4+. The entire portfolio shows a real mastery of the B&W media. Link to comment
