michaellinder 16,613 Posted July 18, 2014 I get the feeling that Elmore James may have been seeing such an image in his mind when he wrote "The Sky is Crying." The image is hauntingly beautiful, owing to some dramatic contrasts - between shades of green, between tan and green, and between the dark areas of grass and the light rain.
