A bit unusual for lone trees. You rarely see one shown in the rain. Nice. I like the selective lighting, as well. Lighting rendition?

I get the feeling that Elmore James may have been seeing such an image in his mind when he wrote "The Sky is Crying."  The image is hauntingly beautiful, owing to some dramatic contrasts - between shades of green, between tan and green, and between the dark areas of grass and the light rain.

Congratulations on POTD. This is a departure from other images in the portfolio, but still has the distance about it. The images leave a lot to the imagination while being pleasing to the eye.
