I'm posting my first photo from my photo-shoot on the Belgium coast - at

Oostende. It was a gray and windy evening but we made the best of it and

this is a taste of what is still to come.

Ulla, I like the soft light and the monochromatic atmosphere of the photo, with the contrasting blue of the eye(s). Her facial expression is very sweet and a nice fit with the tone of the photos. 

I think the effect would have been more powerful if her right eye wasn't hidden beneath her hair. If you have another photo where both eyes show, you might be able to do some Photoshop magic and save the hidden eye in this one. 

wonderful portrait...   it engages the viewer immediately

 

the visual rhythm of the hair and breeze add so much...  I really like it...

 

Soft contrast... exactly, like a dream...

I am attracted to portraits that are not 'perfect' but captured in the actual atmosphere that existed at the time. This is lovely Ulla and I will be looking forward to your other images from this shoot.

A charming photo of this lovely girl. I like the rumpled confusion of hair across her face although like Cesar I would have preferred that her right eye had not been covered so much. But the overall effect is enchanting.
