think27 0 Posted May 17, 2001 Black and White photographic art at its best. Very unusual approach and I love the grain. This is a very special image. Thanks for showing it. Quote Link to comment
neil_beddoe1 0 Posted May 18, 2001 I can't remember the last time I saw a nude that impressed me so much - excellent Quote Link to comment
john rabkin 0 Posted May 21, 2001 Hmm...Strong subject matter. The huge grain helps divorce the subject from its connotations. Quote Link to comment
vieira 0 Posted June 4, 2001 Should have more contrast? Should be darker? Generally what do you think? Quote Link to comment
christian_mozetic 2 Posted June 5, 2001 Well, I must admit it's been a while since I've looked at a nude and not felt guilty; I strongly agree with the last comment. This is a great image. Quote Link to comment
james___ 0 Posted June 6, 2001 I never feel guilty when looking at an image of a nude especially when it is this good. Outstanding work. Maybe just a little more contrast. And then try a lot more contrast with less exposure. The grain will really stand out and you'll get a high key pencil drawing effect. Beautiful image. Email me and we'll see if we can agree on a swap or price for an 11x14. I love this image. It'll go great in my collection of prints. James Quote Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 6, 2001 I wish I could tell you how much I like this one, but words fail me. It's like a two-dimensional representation of a four-dimensional phenomenon in three-dimensional space. See what I mean? Quote Link to comment
amypowers 0 Posted June 6, 2001 The lines and curves are really very lovely, so graceful, like the neck of a swan. Quote Link to comment
jonathancharlesphoto 0 Posted November 11, 2001 This picture explores the boundary between photography and painting. The photo component is so lacking in detail as to be almost just a framework on which is constructed a mezzotint / grain picture. It works brilliantly. Quote Link to comment
