Girl in flight

The youngsters at this skatepark in Napier, NZ were absolutely

amazing. I took lots of photos of them doing such somersaults. They

were so young too. They were better than any have seen in Auckland.

This one appeals to me in particular.

Jim.  This is an awesome shot.  The timing is perfect.  I really like the connection between the two subjects.  You can tell the kid in the foreground is looking directly at the kid doing the flip.  I also think it is cool that neither of their faces is showing.  Very cool.  Dana...

Thanks very much for your kind comments.  This is one of my favourite photos, yet nobody had commented upon it, which was a bit dis-heartening.  However, your stopping by and taking the time to evaluate has made my day !

Funnily enough the image of mine which has had the most success in Auckland and nationally in New Zealand is also one where the main actor's face is not seen (Break dancer).

Maybe that is my forte  ;-)

Wow, excellent capture Jim!!! Good detail and timing!!! I don't know how these kids can do this. I don't know why, but I think if you submit for rating, quite often you get more comments. This shot certainly deserves more 'conversation'.

Thanks so much for your appreciation and supportive comments,  I will follow your suggestion with my next photo.  We are in Malaysia right now and not so easy to do stuff on the laptop.  ........... but as soon as we get home !
