I wish the pedestrians in the photo had been coming toward me instead of

away … but with street photos it seems you get what can and be grateful…

any comments or suggestions are appreciated.

Nice angle and I like the receding figure, without which it would be soulless.  The place obviously means something to you, otherwise, I guess, you would not photograph.  So that comes across.

Sandra,   This looks like a down home ma and pa cafe.  What about that bucket in front.  I think it adds character.  The author, William Least Heat Moon would likely call this at least a two calendar cafe.  In his book (long ago) Blue Highways, he drove around the country on side roads seeking out old fashioned caftes and rated them by the number of calendars inside.  Nice.  Larry
